My grandma's internet tales continue on. She received an email from a scammer doing the whole "I'll send you a check for $8000, and I only need you to forward $900 on to my blah blah blah..." deal.
My mom happens to be visiting her this week and talked grandma out of it. My grandma is now mad about missing this opportunity. She needs a baby sitter when she gets online.
When I first hooked my gram up with AOL like 2093842093 years ago (she just needed the internet to visit Oprah), she called me at work one day and wanted to know why her computer was acting weird.
So I went over to her place that night and checked it out. I had to clean off 239048320948 viruses. Why? My gram clicked EVERY FUCKING email she got and her inbox was full of stuff about hot, ebony men.
My 80-something (at the time), racist as hell grandmother. It was great.
