the last time i multiplied fractions was doing the criss-cross thing of multiplying the bottom number of the first fraction with the top number of the second

and vice-versa

You don't actually have to read any of the text, I've included the answer and the work ... I just don't think I'm solving for r -- correctly. And I need to be able to do this by hand in an exam.
