When I say "old friend" I mean "the only person from high school that I hear from, who I was really close to for quite a few years"

I don't think I've had a full conversation with her since march, maybe even January.

and its over dramatic to say but, it hurts.

I know she's going through rough times so I don't blame her for not suddenly having a huge spare time allowance

...but at the same time, any attempt I give to help her out, even to pay her way into a movie to help take her mind off things, she refuses

She had to suffer through my high school phases and a moment in time where I was very weak (and whiny)

But the silence she's given me is...irritating.

I wouldn't be dwelling over it so much if it wasn't for the fact that I HAVE been hearing from her

...at work. only when she's shopping at my job.
