i find it interesting that you note nobody seems to use hmds to seek feedback/look for ways to improve because that's basically the entire reason I do use them
I like them because I can ask the game at large about specific things in my play/plotlines that I want feedback on, rather than putting up a blank comment and hoping someone comes to me
Unless there's an attitude shift across dwrp, most people seem to see HMD's as a place-holder that acts sort of like a protective clause. If it's up there and nobody else is commenting then it's done it's job.
Also, re: HMD, I enjoyed them for their purpose but they are also super anxiety-inducing, so while a comment with some concrit is appreciated, there's also a huge sense of relief when there's no comments
