Like, at NCAA Compliance, we were explicitly told to have zero contact with potential prospective athletes (the exception being if we already had a long-standing existing relationship with them).

Now, IDK if that extends to prospective non-athletic students who are still in high school, but... seems like a kinda dangerous grey area...

Moot point on my end, since I don't think I know anyone in high school anymore, but I'm sure I'm not the only tutor to have gotten that email
