I'm just worried by the time I'm back to replying everyone will have forgotten me/moved on. That's what usually happens, especially since I don't play characters most people are interested in threading with.

some people won't go back to threads that have been left for a long time, but if you message anyone you want to continue something with, i think most people are happy to

I haven't had great luck with that recently, actually. It's sort of made me stop trying to reach out to people.

Take your time sorting yourself out. The good ones will still be around.
