I can survive for about 4 months confortably on my savings. Longer if absolutely necessary

My plan is to enjoy the holidays and then job search starting Jan

Open commissions to have something to do while I'm not job searching and studying

I have a solid foundation in a lot of stuff I do at this job, but idk if it'd fly during an interview, especially SQL and general db stuff

So I'll take the time to bone up on some of that

I'm probably underestimating how much time the dog is gonna demand, but she reliably takes 2 hour naps in the morning and afternoon

I can work around that

My biggest concern was that Sean would have to support me more financially during this time, but it turns out he won't have to

The money we'll save from not having to pay someone to check in on Lucca balances out with me contributing less to bills

So at least there is no guilt there
