I'm seeing something about going into Settings for WiFi and disabling proxy on the network you are supposed to be connecting with.

Not sure if you have an AdBlocker on the phone, but I'm reading that sometimes that can be the issue because it has a proxy thing that can be set up...and it messes with connecting to some things.

Just_Is Try going to your Play Store, Tap on the 3 Lines at the top and choose "My Apps" then go down to where it says "Chrome" then unistall. Once it's done uninstalling tap "Update" see if that works
