and this has been happening in a lot of games I like

especially when I didn't even do hardcore leveling first. wtf game

or games that encourage you to explore the hell out of everything which results in you being twice the level of everything in that area

I hate that, too. Or boss fights that you're supposed to lose because the plot says so but you're actually wailing on them pretty hard.
