Berger was required reading for semiotics classes in college and uni for me. Wow, what a shame.

Rewatching this is reminding me a whole lot of Mike Rugnetta and his videos with PBS Idea Channel, except pre-Internet. He even touches on the limitations of TV as a medium for meaningful interaction with the viewer.
