So I grab my wired earbuds off the night stand so I don't wake the wife while watching a video. Then I realize I'm holding the iPhone 7. D'oh.

I love my lightning buds!
I've never taken mine from the box. 99% of my use is Bluetooth, but I have a set of regular buds next to the bed for my iPad.
The cool part is (assuming iPad is lightning) that the lightning buds work for anything with a lightning port.
I use for both my iPhone and iPad.
I get it. But again, I have never taken them from the box. I use Bluetooth 99% of the time.
That and I hate the Apple earbuds. They don't fit in my ears.
Ah, gotcha. Just thought you didn't realize you could take them out of the box and replace the ones on the nightstand.
I've given at least four pair of my Apple earbuds to my kids. I'll likely never buy their AirPods.
Earbuds make my ears sad.

Those actually pretty good. I doubt they'll help them sound as good as these, though.
