Szayel is not secretly suicidal, no. What he is, is extremely confident that no one is actually going to kill him. That it's all empty threats.

Which is why he'd act up more with the partners of anyone brought to his infirmary because really now they need him, of course no one's going to waste time breaking his face and more.

Saix still has, and probably always will nurse, a lingering affection for Even that defies all sense. He doesn't think them being around each other much is a good idea, because they just don't work but he's sorry about that fact rather than angry, or bitter.

Pulse exploration would be.... well, better if there was more amenable company, looking at you Marluxia XD

He wouldn't be jumping at the idea, although it would have its appeal since travelling and hunting are two of his favourite things, but he wouldn't refuse the opportunity either.

Would Saix find he gets on with anybody better than he expected to?

Yeah, Grimmjow. They've called a truce, but the two of them are pretty similar, with fairly similar priorities. Saix would enjoy the regular competition. I imagine they'd egg each other on a lot.

Favourites wise I love playing Nel, Szayel when he's being a douchetard, Ulquiorra...

I have fun playing Xigbar, because he is a dickhead.

I find Hojo tricky because he's so uncaringly blunt and self involved, everything orbits what he wants for him, and that's difficult to manage when I'm throwing him against characters that would stab him without a second thought.

I'm enjoying Marluxia more than I was? I don't think there's anyone I enjoy more than I expected, but Marluxia used to be difficult. He's settled in with practice, though.

Favourite ship... Gladio/Ignis? XD I dunno, to be honest. I enjoy Marluxia and Lumi's no-shagging relationship.

Characters I'd change... Tayuya. In hindsight I'd have cut her from the roster. She doesn't get much opportunity to contribute much, and her fighting style is awkward to manage.

Gladio and Ignis aren't in it yet. XD

I like her, she's just sort of.... there a lot.

Rather than being a driving force in logs, but there's not much to do with her.

Yeah, and Nel and Aizen aren't a thing yet, and nor are Arc and Szayel, so ships, at present, consist of Aerith and Lea, and Ulquiorra and Ienzo, which are both fun but not "omg I want to just play these two interacting cutely" fun.

There's fun stuff planned for Ienzo and Lala, it's just not due yet XD

The risk is that if we pack them off with little stimulus to return unless told to by the higher ups, they don't get used because we have to start coming up with reasons for them to be involved.
