While the out of towners were in town for Mom's funeral and then again at Thanksgiving, they tried to shame me for my SM posts.. saying FB was not the place to do that and that I had no business trying to influence people - after all, who am I. In the past week, both my sisters have shared the posts from Fr. Martin and one of them and her daughter are

posting non-stop anti-Trump and the bs posts about immigration. (and they accuse me of being hypocritical).... my niece shared a video about refugees. One of her friends commented:

The homeless, and especially homeless Veterans, should be prioritized over those from other countries. We need to take care of OUR OWN FIRST. I can't drive to the grocery without seeing a homeless person on the street....

How did my niece respond? We are all human. We all deserved to be cared for. Love knows no borders.

Remind her that God told Nehemiah to build a wall to keep out those who would do harm to His people. Does she know better than God?

Tell her to keep in mind that this travel ban is temporary until new procedures are in place to protect citizens which is the job of any government.

JlovesR: Unfortunately none of them are listening to me. Snarky comments and more posts of the same crap is what I am getting in response. They are all convinced that I am a b**ch and that I do not care about anything or anyone but the unborn. They think they are more compassionate and more like what "Jesus would want us to be"

so sorry. People who are in the wrong usually shout the loudest... IMHO

Makemeaspark: I posted a couple that I had hoped she would read...legitimate news sources.. where as a lot of what she was posting was from biased sources. She stopped posting for a while and I thought great, maybe it got through to her...nope ...she just posted the "how to identify fake news" post.. the final check off was

ask a librarian... guess what she is... ugh - and she accuses me of thinking I know more than others. The last time she said that, I just said - no by no means, but I do my research and try to ensure the facts before posting - something most do not do. She is the one that has always been very condescending to the point of wanting to slap her LOL

If it makes you feel any better, today I had a young lady, who recently organized a big unity event for various Christian groups in our city of different ethnicitys, tell me that I am ignorant and should get more facts from Google before talking about last weeks women's march again.
