I've only ever lived in WA, but I've visited a lot of places. Red is roadtrip, amber is at least one full-on vacation, whether for work (GA) or play. Blue is multiple vacations and/or two+ cities.
Clearly I need to visit the northeast & the south more, hm.
Oh, huh. Actually PA & OH should be blue, too. Oops.
And AZ should be amber.
I blame Doctor Groovy for most of the oddball ones. GA & SC, my first trip to OH, my cumulative two+ weeks in PA, NY was both con & work. TX was con, as was NJ. Family in ID.
...hm, by those standards, I guess NY should be blue, too. I've been to both NYC and Buffalo, and walked around both pretty aggressively.

cyphercat: It kind of has been. It surprised me a little to lay it out like that, but I did spend a couple of years going to as many anime cons as I could. And then there was Dr. Groovy.

spaceturtle: Indiana has been instrumental in some very strange experiences in my life. I don't know that I'd ever want to live there, but I'm on six or so years of trips to Indy for GenCon.
