沙龍的鼎盛年代被稱作「談話時代」，
在中古世紀的知識性聚會中這些聰明、受過教育的女子是通過相互探討、吸收接納文學界的價值觀。
我把西洋中古世紀的沙龍風融合現代女性的知性與強勢
來型塑沙龍聚會中的女主人們，
並透過中文字象徵他們吸收並接納各界的知識來表現時代精髓。
