It's fun having to make up headcanon for Edward's relationship with the Antimatter Gotham rogues since there's no actual material for it. Are there deep feelings of camaraderie, or is it more along the lines of, "Oh yeah, they're those guys I knew before I left and formed my own team that operated internationally"?
Of course, I have to be careful not to go too deep into fanfic territory for how I imagine the Antimatter Gothamites. Which, for some characters, I do have ideas in mind, but they shouldn't warrant mentioning.
Really hoping I can improve and get to the point where Eddie's voice is natural enough to me that it isn't such a struggle to get a single reply written. Voice is really shaky, I think. I'm already side-eyeing some of what I've written so far.
Ugh I haven't even tagged around yet. Gotta get on that.
First I need to figure out where Eddie's even gonna build his stupid machine and then maybe-or-maybe-not activate it.
Hrm. So if I'm understanding this right, the only two attempts to leave, in MoM and not CnC, were by Lucifer and later by BH6 cast members. Except Lucifer is. Well. The devil. So who knows what exactly he did, and Callaghan openly admitted that their incident was the result of a malfunction, not an earnest attempt at activation.
... Dang, that won't be enough to convince Eddie away. I think I will postpone his completion date though, by a month or so. Give him more time to mingle and pick up CR so when he screws up, the people angry at him can actually know him personally.
... This goober's gonna need a job.
A 13-year-old is paying for his groceries and that's just not okay, mang.
There was also an attempt by a character named Qubit who built a transporter, but that one was never really publicized
