More specifically the end credits is a positively brutal bullet hell sequence

And after enough progression/deaths you're asked if you want assistance -- boom the music swells and other people's saves come in, in the form of options, to help you.

After you've completed it you're given the choice to sacrifice yoru save data to be a shot option for a complete stranger.
