Gee, this feels familiar.
Pics when I'm back on wi-fi.
The booties are gonna be red, and I can't find the socks online. Maybe I'll take a pic later.
I don't care if it's pastel, it fits Eli's theme.
Just got the butterfly/ladybug onesie and there's a stain on it.
E-mailed the seller about it. I'm gonna wash it and see if it comes out, but.
The socks. They're so teeny!
Just think how much fun I'm gonna be if I ever have kids of my own to do this for.
Hell, if I ever have nieces and nephews to do this for.
I can think of at least two kids right now that would be getting stuffed shipped to them on a regular basis if I could afford it.
Friggin' Italy, man. Pretty, but omg customs and shipping, help.
There's a third kid, but I dunno if I'm wanted, so.
AUUUGH OMG LOOK WHY DON'T I HAVE THE MONEY FOR THIS IT'S ELI AND HIS BUG JARS HELP
Stain hasn't come out of the bug onesie yet and I've washed it three times. It's in the washer for a fourth. Oh sure, it's almost out, it's barely there now, but really? Three times? So the seller asked on an update and I sent that off. I don't know if I care if she wants to replace it or not, but I bought an envelope to send it back in if it comes to it.
The ladybug footie sleeper (the red one) just got here, but I've yet to open it 'cause brother's within hearing distance and he always gets suspicious if I open things shortly after getting the mail. I mean, it's my money, but I'm not allowed to spend it.
I'm gonna be in so much shit if he sees that doll arrive, oh my god.
I'm sure as hell not telling him how much it set me back if he does.
Opened the sleeper. OMG it's so precious. Might be a teeny bit big on the doll though, it's 0-3 months. The doll is supposed to fit in either that or newborn depending on brand. I have like three different brands here. >_>
Why isn't it Wednesday yet help.
Stain on onesie is now nearly non-existent. There's like a little dot by the butterfly's antenna that's easily missed if you're not looking for it. Seller decided to send me a replacement anyway.
So that's going out on Monday. The Converse booties should be here on Monday, the pastel sleeper on Tuesday.
Other people get this excited over real babies. So do I, but since real babies can't be a thing right now - or maybe ever - this is the next best thing.
Might keep me from going crazy, anyway.
This is cute too.
Pastel ladybug sleeper just got here and it's too cute for words. How are real babies this tiny. Also yes, even shopping for a doll is helping.
The happiest I've been lately was last Tuesday, going through racks of baby clothes.
And that dragon up there? Yeah. Hopefully Thursday.
This is just funny actually. Years ago I saved up $200 for a toddler doll, had her on layaway. Also bought her a dedicated teddy bear the day I finally brought her home.
So apparently if the doll is important enough, it gets it's own toys.
Yes, I still have her. Her name's Alysabeth, nicknamed Bits. The teddy bear is a jointed Boyds bear, Elliot.
They're both currently packed up for the move.
Elliot. The one I bought had fur in his eyes and looked half-asleep, but the morning of pick up the shopkeeper cut it without asking me. She thought it was 'cuter'. Yeah, no.
It was a toss up between this and a quilt.
I got the crocheted blanket three bucks cheaper with a coupon, but it's gonna take longer to get here.
Fits theme-wise a little better too.
Obviously no doll yet. There'd be a lot of screaming if it was here.
There's gonna be a lot of screaming regardless.
