Any tips for dealing with an infected foot? It's swollen, hot & red to the touch. The doctor gave us meds and pain reliever but I just want to do everything I can. Doc said to soak it that's what he is doing now..
My fiancé got a metal stake through the top of his foot (longish story.) we took him to the ER 2 days ago.. they cleaned him up gave him five stitches and sent us home. With NO meds at all..
He went to his doc today, with the symptoms listed above. He said it should have never been stitched and that the ER didn't clean it good. He plans to cut it open and push out puss in the morning?... I am really worried and never dealt with anything like this
If any of you have suggestions, advice or have been through something like this.. 
Epson Salt soak maybe? Keep it clean
