As mushy as it's written, it's real to them because this is the closest they've ever been to love, and love is all they want.
that's a nice thought...
good thinking. but how can they love each other? like we all love our family and friends. we love them because we know them
therefore we know tuff about them to love. rocmeo and juliet dont know anything about each other to love.
so how is it love. i think its attraction. and them not wanting to be without someone there so they THINK they love each other
maybe some love is so strong that you don't need knowledge? I'm not sure...
Right, but maybe he's trying to portray that a lot of times, teenagers just think they are in love. They don't kow what the real definition
of love is, and this is what they think is close to it.
yeah...i agree. i wonder if teens would agree with you? i remember thinking i knew what LOVE is!!
I don't think most teenagers would… Then again my opinion does vary on love, I too could just think I know what love is. Personally, I think
most teenagers use the word love so flimsy, and don't know how strong and powerful a simple word like ‘love’ is. I feel that society is
defeating the word love and making it become more worthless every time it is said. People say things like, “Omg, I LOVE those shoes!” or
“I LOVE that song!” as if they would honestly experience the feelings and emotions R&J had when they were in love, with a pair of shoes,
and if they could, that’s completely beyond me.
I do think that it is possible for teenagers to be in love, like R&J, it wouldn't make sense why they couldn't. It's not like you have to be
an adult to understand what love is. I just don't think many teens take the time to realize what exactly love means before they say it.
i agree..and think about adults too..it's not singular to kids. look at the divorce rate...very sad
I think people in general should really think about the power of the word 'love' before they say it.
