I've lived in Portland. I've met angry ranters on MAX and no matter how tempting it is to try and teach them a lesson, they are DANGEROUS and probably intoxicated to boot.

For the safety of all involved I BEG you to move away from the situation and alert transit staff.

Some guys got stabbed on a Portland train when they tried to stop this guy from verbally harassing some Muslim women.

Oh gosh

I mean I'm glad we're honoring those men but I also worry that trying to take matters into one's own hands is going to become a habit and the people on these trains who are like this are often really dangerous.
