any of you game playing folk tried this?

nah, doesn't seem like my style.

lot o people going for it though.

it's real stressful but also fun

thing is, there's a 99% chance you're gonna be disappointed when you die in some stupid way

never played a game that got my heart rate up so much

online StarCraft was like that.

plus the whole play really hard, get into gold league, followed by losing right back into silver was a brutal cycle.

I feel like in pubg it would be really frustrating to get beat by like a coordinated duo. but does that happen all that all that much?

Well there's solo duo and squad modes, in solo it's every man for himself

I think half the fun in a game like that dying, really. I mean, the chances of coming out on top are tiny. Might as well go out with some flair!

Erik has a great story about when his squad for killed of right away, and he ended up finding a bitchin hiding spot near the center inside a building, where he hid for most of the match. He spent the early part of the game running, so he didn't get a chance to get any guns tough.

He actually made it into the final 20 or do. Here's Erik, naked, hiding in a corner with a frying pan, when a group of heavily armed goons arrives and starts clearing the building. It's only a matter of time until they find him.

They still don't know he's in there, so he positions himself near the stairs. When the first guys come up, he starts screaming "FOR VALHALLA!!!!" over the local VoIP and drops onto the stairs behind them.

Apparently he caught them off guard enough to brain two of them with his pan before the others filled his naked body with lead.

But yeah, there aren't a ton of games where being attacked by a screaming naked man wielding a frying pan is a thing you have to worry about.
