Biggest peeve is the severe cut in Keith. Maybe Steven Yeun was busy maybe not but the lack of Keith was a major blow to everything in the series

They had built on Keith's progression as a leader and then they just decided to throw it out the window?

It almost felt like there were 2 writer teams and they didnt talk to each other until they had done the animation and then they were like, well shit

Like that Snowman movie. Half of the story got cut or left out somehow and the production realized it the day before the season aired and had to make do

With the writing choices, I feel like they realized what they Really Wanted To Do With Keith and/or Shiro for the future seasons and went oh shit, we have to get Keith away and then Shiro in Voltron again
