- Backtag search distance can now be set in the advanced settings.
- There's a new option to throw out all threads under a given length.
- Did you know that the 90-day limit actually wasn't being honored in previous versions OOPS SHIT now it is
- Initial investigation into a mac friendly build went nowhere viable.
- I still don't have a fix for the timeout issues on certain computers - the 'fix' I had for it just made all calls not work.
- 0.8.4's default.sav file is NOT compatible with past versions - you'll need to start fresh.
- One person who downloads ACSavior will be struck with an ancient curse that makes them able to understand what beverages are thinking while you drink them
so, the more people who get this version, the safer you are from beverage curse
Hopefully whoever gets that has a vore fetish.
This will be the last release until I get feedback at the end of November when hopefully someone uses it
Oh, hey. This one triggers Windows Defender and not just Trend Micro. That's new, at least for me.
I unfortunately have no control over that issue either
Yeah, at least I can tell both of them to run it anyway.
I gotta say, I have one niggling little nitpick that doesn't matter at all except it keeps snagging my attention. idk if you have any control over it, though.
But it's the dates. Only seven digits getting displayed.
What do you mean, only seven digits?
I can probably fix that more decisively but here's something that SHOULD fix that
- right click on ACSavior.exe
- Properties > Compatibility
- Check "Disable high DPI scaling behavior"
Okay, yeah. That changed it
Changed the entire shape some, but that's no bother.
yeah, that's what it's supposed to look like
the DPI scaling fucks things up
This is cool as heck, and I love the feature flexibility!
I'm already using it to pull up my own threads for reporting AC at games
I hadn't even thought about it before, but the "ignore threads with X or less comments" one is a really nice option too-- especially when trying to compile AC counts with minimal links.
it's mainly there because I know some RPs have rules like that
you can't count a thread with under 3 comments or whatever
Now, does that count comments per user or total comments?
I thought that's what it meant, but wanted to be sure.
sadly yes - I can't guarantee that a Mac version will happen, but it's something I'm trying for.
hopefully most mod teams have at least one windows user on them.
