Something they don't tell you when transitioning is how hard emotions can be. As male it's shamed, drilled, threatened, and sometimes beaten into you to not show weakness or "girly" emotion. Being free from that mindset to female... There are many good days but some days are hard.

I'm struggling right now with the emotions... Just takes some time to work through them, cry for a few minutes (or more sometimes...) and normal bubbly Tris is back. It's so awesome to not have to bury and hide these emotions or suffer behind a mask of masculinity anymore.

I dont regret my choice to transition though. I would never willingly go back to being male. I just have to get through this as every female does and it takes time. Even though it took until I was 28 to start transitioning, it's been very worthwhile. These gendered emotions are my view from personal experience. I just needed a place to vent <3 Thanks
