as for other games, I really love IV, IX, XII, and XV... I am in the small minority that really did not like VII

X was... idk man tidus annoyed the shit out of me the first time I played it (though I am less mad at him for existing now) but I'm lov yuna and it has my favorite combat mechanics in the series SO

I hated X-2 when I played it but I think it was bc I was a Moody Teen Girl With Internalized Misogyny and I think I'd find it a lot more charming now

XIII was a really pretty movie with the occasional button-press and a cast of characters with no redeeming qualities whatsoever except fang who is a babe

I want to try it again now that I know somebody who actually really likes it though... appreciation by association

anywaY after being hilariously let down by XIII and how extremely un-final fantasy it was I was like "I QUIT FINAL FANTASY!!!!!!!!!!!" and then didn't actually hear anything about xv until it released bc I was willfully not paying attention

and then ello picked it up on a whim and I died and now everything is ok again

trey is a little annoying but in a charming "I'm a verbose teen boy and I'll grow out of it" kind of way

anyway: play type-0 maybe, do it for the kids and not the gameplay
