So, the original Fable I loved a lot... a lot. Like, I spent hours enjoying the world and the characters... I met my lovely village wife who moved into a nice house in Oakvale with me... Oakvale, that became a site of tragedy in 2 (or 3? I forget now) I worked out the best spell balance so my dude didn't get TOO old haha.

That was a world I just lost myself completely in, back in the original Xbox games era...

The second game I loved a lot too... although it kinda broke my heart with the choice at the end... I'd fallen in love with, and married a kinky bisexual monk (those were literally his two randomly generated descriptors) and we had two super cute kids together and then

...THE CHOICE..

I regretted taking the noble path so much and basically spent the

rest of the game in mourning... who cares about anything else give me back my kinky monk... I even restarted the game to get him back but no one quite like him ever appeared in the second game... I LOST MY HUSBAND FOREVER LIONHEAD HOW COULD YOU

Friends from that time of my life and I still greet each other with the FAble 1 emotes hahahahahaha

Fable 3 I actually never finished, I enjoyed it a lot but I farmed real estate for gold for ages and then got distracted, probably by Mass Effect.

I'd _like_ to go back and finish it (well, re-start, my save is long gone) but at the same time...... ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...... there's..... there's so many games to play

So I'm quietly excited about F4, I'm kinda wishing it would capture the wonder and weirdness that enchanted me with the first game and not getting too carried away with other bells and whistles but I guess we'll see

Yeah I'm concerned about F4 since... New team, but it'd be great if it did capture what made the Fable games so good
