is eating kettle corn at the independence celebration at Tupper Lake, which is having fireworks tonight instead of the 4th.
which kind of makes sense, since the fireworks are at night and most people have to get up and work the next day.

the cover band was actually pretty good! They did some Devo and Talking Heads.
