it's in my lease that I have a service dog

they charged me a pet deposit for her and required not only documentation from my therapist but a vet's approval of the breed

so I got in touch with a disability advocacy program

and my lawyer there spoke to her about it today and she got "upset"

and tried to argue why my dog should count under the law

she actually asked what my disability is

which she's not supposed to do

the most she's allowed to know is my dog helps me with emotional issues

then she made a comment about how she hasn't been over here in a while and needs to see the condo

he told her she's not allowed to retaliate against me and she got "upset" again

then she calls me to set up a walk through

talked about how she just realized it's been 10 months and my lease is almost up and she never did the 6 month walk through

bitch, please

do you really think my lawyer doesn't tell me about what he does with my case?

just the interactions leading up to signing the lease and moving in with the pup were enough to have me wary of her

her office tried to get me to sign the lease before I had permission from the voucher program

they told me that they would fix the condo up before I signed the lease and moved in but they didn't clean up and I moved in to a stained rug, black caulking, a too short shower rod, a non-functional garbage disposal, a kitchen sink that needs liquid plumber every 2 weeks, and a filthy apartment

and my bedroom door neither stays open nor latches
