I recently followed an irl acquaintance. They have a curious cat and have been pushing for people to ask questions about a variety of Very Personal subjects

Sex, kinks, race, etc

so I asked them "Hey can you please put your pronouns in your twitter bio? Thanks!" I don't have a curious cat account so it was anon.

They vagued about it like "Wow some Woke babe(tm) told me to put my pronouns in my bio bc they are too afraid to ask me outright"

So I quickly responded (in a slightly hostile tone) "Hey this literally makes the world safer for trans people but go off"

And then they quote tweeted it which made it a whole Public Discussion for their Whole Following

with "Some people arent comfortable giving their pronouns but go off"

And like, thats fine, she could have just Said That

And then all her followers jumped up to defend her and argue with me and it's like???? why this
