Well, guess I'm gonna be spending my little free money on baby clothes for her and Kierlan. Kiria and Eli are pretty much okay at the moment.

Like the hat might be a little big - it might all be a little big, thanks Gymboree - but it should shrink. Hell, even if it doesn't.

I just keep being ridiculous about it. I'll wash everything once I've got it and then sit around twitching waiting for the doll.

Kind of like I did with Kiria, ha.

Because apparently both Eli and his sister need handmade blankets. I was super picky about his, I couldn't find anything with bugs that I liked, so I went for the color part of his theme. Green for grass.

It's a beautiful blanket and I wanted to get the pastel one the lady made for Lanie, but $25's out of my range atm. So this one's pretty and on clearance so here we are.

Yes I did try to find bunny stuff. It was disappointing.

So the lady making Lanie's booties couldn't find the purple heart buttons in the small size, so she offered to look around for a couple days or I could choose something else.

Eli has his lucky red Converse, Lanie gets bunny shoes to match her bunny outfit, lol.

I swear the days are moving slower than when I was waiting for Eli. Not having anything useful to do isn't helping, but whatever.

Dragged myself to the store today and I barely had the energy to get back home. It was the equivalent of like three blocks, cripes.

But anyway.

It's red and black, not pink. Doesn't match anything she has so far. But that's intentional.

I can picture WR Lanie having that one piece of clothing that doesn't look like it belongs to her, and just drags it everywhere. Eli and his lucky red Converse, Lanie and her red and black striped sweater.

Maybe she's tiny and gets attached to an adult-sized sweater and uses it as a security blanket until she's old enough to wear it.

Just drowning in this oversized sweater, constantly pushing the sleeves up and getting jam on them anyway when she helps dad make lunch.

It's maybe not in the greatest shape by the time she's a teenager but she wears it anyway. Can kinda see her chewing on a cuff when she's thinking and then denying it, lol.

And Lanie was moved up from the 2nd to yesterday and then FedEx didn't deliver her and rescheduled her back to the 2nd.

So I'm expecting to be disappointed tomorrow.
