I love this, and love Ark, and raptors are my favorite!

The new pounce ability they put on them makes them pretty terrifying on foot. One of our first memories with Ark before we even knew anything much about the game (we're talking probably 10 hours in, on our own, level 30ish?) is running in to an alpha raptor. So much dying.

That was a fun night. I actually feel like Ark is more fun at that point though. Yes it gets frustrating dying repeatedly, but once you have a bunch of high dinos and all that, there's no real challenge left in it.
