so we have begun to move in to our temporary year-long home. now corvus and i have to sort out how to make an unfinished basement our bedroom/livingroom/and offices for the next year before we have to move again :\ everyone else has finished rooms in nice warm bright spaces. its just us that got shunned to this fuckhole as live in caretakers. im not salty...

sorry to hear the move is not going well, it really does suck to get the worst end of the deal 
its just frustrating. dont get me wrong i will make it as comfy as i can. we are going to get carpet to lay down for as long as we are here and little foam squares for my work corner walls. it is just agravating when i take care of everyone in the house to be hidden away in the darkest unfinished part.
the reason why we have to be down here is because there isnt enough rooms upstairs. my elderly parents cant use stairs. my teenage stepson cant be trusted alone, and we have to be near the youngest. so there is one finished room down here for her and then the big unfinished part for us.
in order for me to be sure everyone is safe and healthy and i can care for them all, the best course of action was to put corvus and myself in the basement :\
I just wish my mother hadn't rented this house with out talking to any of us first, but that is a whole other can of worms.
just keep reminding yourself its only for a year, years go fast, that's not a lot of time. soon you will find your happy place <3
it actually helps us really improve our credit and i can make sure they are in a proper care place once we are ready to part ways. it is just gonna take a bit of engeneering to get this concrete box warm and livable.
on the bright side, it'll be nice and cool down there this summer
