On a technical level, apps are the last week of April and reserves are the week before that, with a mostly-recycled TDM at the start of Reserves week. Once apps close at month turnover, they won't open again until the end of June, so get 'em in there!!

There will also be a CR Meme at the start of June, in addition to our first Newsletter outlining the month.

On a plot level, expect a survival skills mingle in the next few days, in which Ortech invites those with combat and other survival skills to help their own survival representatives teach Wayward Pines's residents at least the basics on how to survive in the apocalypse. Think of it like a really serious fair, with booths and food.

(The food will probably be grilled survival-style over a campfire because what the fuck do you expect from an event like this.)

There will also be a surprise mini-event at the end of the month. It's even a surprise to the mods! This is because we're basing it on the results of one of the newly-posted expeditions, assuming people end up claiming them. Whichever expedition's results/discoveries give us the neatest Idea is the lucky winner.

We wanted to say thank you for your patience this month, seriously. Almost nothing has been on time and y'all have been chill as can be about it, and we appreciate the hell out of that.

We're still getting our footing in this newly-reopened game, and you can expect better punctuality (as well as more expeditions, more thorough events, etc) in the future as we find our groove in this.
