A friend of mine was a sort of guest at Dragon-Con one year, and they dragooned him into helping judge the Masquerade. His not-a-girlfriend and I, therefore, got to sit wayupfront, really good view of the stage.
The intermission was a band (DCon is very musical, they wear many hats), "The Bloodhound Gang". Not my kind of music, so I hadn't heard of them, but apparently they're pretty well established. So I'm watching the show, and there's a rhythm guitarist (if I use the term correctly stage left, and all the way forward.
So he looks like he's having a blast, and he jumps down on the tables in front of the stage, which got Security coming over and staaaring at him, until he sheepishly jumps off the table and kinda wanders into the audience a bit and boogies with some Borg (OMG wish I had had a camera just for boogying with the Borg on principle), gets back on stage...
...has the lead singer tear his shirt off at one point for unknown but aesthetically pleasing reasons, big grin on his face the WHOLE time. I mean, I knew about Dogstar already at that point, so part of this was not surprising.
Audience, BTW, is not reacting any more than any audience exposed to a loud and raucous rock show would. Because most of them cannot see his face clearly.
I tried to back-construct the principal shooting time for Matrix... 3, perhaps? With when he would have been in heavy physical training BUT ALSO with enough wiggle room to sit in with friends, and this would have been right before or right after.
