spent all day with no power in Arkansas heat bc we couldn't pay the bill on time

had to reach out and ask multiple parents for money

had to call out of work this morning so I could scramble around and gather funds

(thankfully my manager was understanding and offered to give me another shift to make up the lost hours)

I have cried many times in the last 24 hours

and then, I got this shit paid by 2pm, which means our power was meant to be restored by 5 pm

but guess

what

nobody came out!!! but somehow, the work order showed it had been completed according to my account and the customer service system

so I called at 6 to be like wtf and they were like "we're just as confused as you and sending someone out asap to take care of that, fee waived"

so

it's been A Day
