his full name is Jack Finnegan Reed Jr. - you may be seeing where his issue is already
named after his father, who he has a terrible relationship with, jack's never been happy about his name (especially when said father only ever calls him junior). when he fled utah as a young adult, he started going by jack diamonds
"jack diamonds" sounds like an 80's rockstar name
