So I'm at my new job and it's an hour drive from our house now and 45 minutes from the new place but can I just say HOW MUCH a stress free job with a regular schedule has changed my life
That is one HELL of a commute, but I'm curious about what the job is.
Yeah, it must be a HUGE step up if that commute is worth it
...I mean 30-45 min commutes are standard in my area but that's the Bay for you, everything is either 5-10 min away, 20 min away, or 45
& traffic bumps things from one category to the other unpredictably
(upper category 1 hr 30 min)
Tbh south of Atl it's the same way because there's more industry and higher pay if you're willing to drive further north
Most people I know with decent corporate jobs are either living and working in Peachtree City or commuting at least 45 minutes
But it's inventory control with an industrial supply company warehouse
Basically on the computer sifting through PO tracking and inventory movements to figure out where things went that we should have received in but haven't
The pay is not fantastic, but it's enough more than Starbucks was to even out the gas money and it's in my field
