And honestly, I can't really blame him. He was used as a fleshlight since almost the very beginning, the guy who he thought would finally treat him as a peer also turned out to treat him as a fleshlight, he was scared of affection so he turned down the only man who loved him unconditionally and who really did treat him as a peer and
he wanted to return to his first serious love
To quote Vashta, "I know it's not his fault," [...] "Society made him into the devil he was. He tried. I know he tried. But he was so fearful of embracing humanity, so scared to give himself over to another."
