So, he grew up on the rougher side of an already rough mining/industrial city. But! he's more of a gambler and prefers slight-of-hand for cheating at cards than for stealing. I don't think he could pull off a proper pick-pocket anymore, too out of practice

She'd be the best on the Isle, except that Jay is the best and he's the one who taught her some of her better tricks. In canon while Anthony Tremane was on his guard sure Jay was going to try tp pick him, Jay still got his watch off his wrist and his wallet if I recall.

The Isle Of The Lost Novels and the Descendants movies (the movies are all on D+ atm)

There is also an animated series that I mostly try to pretend doesn't exist except for the music, and some tangental books by other authors about side characters.

Currently I think there are four novels in the main series (By Melissa Dela Cruz) and 3 movies. The order I think is book 1, movie one, books 2, 3, move 2, book 4, movie three. I think., I can double check the chronology for you.

The novels presume you saw the movies and the animated series, the movies MOSTLY can stand on their own, but can leave you curious and confused about things you missed, especially the last movie where one character seems to come out of nowhere.

Because [redacted] gets a lot of mention in the novels, but she and her sister are absent from the first two movies then randomly this kid is getting all this screen time...why?

Personally I say read the books and watch the movies but the last of each is the worst in each series. And the animated is totally skippable.
