oh my god DW layouts are taking me back to weekends spent coding my LJ from scratch

lots of my Tumblr icons are too big for DW, sure is lucky that I sacrificed my laptop's (small, solid state) memory to save every several hundred MB .psd I ever made of gif & static icons.

a guide I found to DWRP said that people don't use gifs because at 60kb they'd have to be horribly compressed to work and look terrible, and to that I say... challenge accepted

I might be getting in too deep with looking at custom themes and pages and stuff but... it's so fun

I have literally never used a custom theme on dw i have the same boring most basic journal for every journal

I did a bit in lj days but by dw days i was Tired

that is so fair! it is about the writing after all!

It was LJ (& a bit of dabbling with free sites like 50megs) that awakened my love of graphic design so it's all folded in to that for me, I think
