Still need to decide which version of the GURPS shipbuilding rules I'm going to use - the ones in GURPS Spaceships, in the GURPS Vehicle Design System, or in GURPS Traveller: Intestellar Wars.

The Spaceships ruleset is simpler overall. The Traveller rules are setting-specific, so they might have to be tinkered with, and the Vehicle Design System is for 3rd Edition, meaning that there's probably some converting to be done.

All three have their merits, and I generally default for the more granular options, but I'm not proficient enough with GURPS to easily weigh the options.
