my list of characters i currently play is small but it is. indicative

3 OCs and 3 actual characters someone else came up with first

(the ocs are obviously the ones not saber alter, setsuna, or ryuko)

dragoon1940: i play edgelord morons when i'm not playing a magical girl

which is why this meme is "that's a lot of stupid bastards (and then there's setsuna)"

i played satsuki for a hot minute but her voice didn't stick sadly

getting klk character voices down "right" is a deceptively simple-looking challenge and in fact an absolute bastard trick to actually pull off, so

they're a bunch of characters who can cram a mile into an inch

both like, in terms of "you said that really fast" and dual-wielding "did anything you just said mean anything at all" and "i cannot handle the punishing information overload you just packed into a single turn of phrase" in a single sentence

(i only really play ryuko in psls because i have a lot of. personal opinions wrapped up in how i feel about klk and i'm genuinely worried about accidentally not handling them well in a larger game full of people i don't know super great, but the converse of that is i gave a lot of thought over to how to nail her voice and always enjoy talking about her oops)

(that said no one can top me having undergarments for a ryuko username that's a next-level sanity-destroyer of a pun on par with the awful ones in the show itself, and i stand by that claim)
