That second picture is upside down, but it is the screw holding the rod in place down by my knee.
So, in the first picture, see my prosthetic hip on the right side. And, then the rod on the left side. The rod is screwed in at the top of my thigh and down by my knee. This surgery was rougher than the total hip replacement. This one...my bone hurt soooo much. I’m still not able to bear full weight on that leg.
I could feel a pinching at the top of my thigh where that top screw is.
But, mostly it’s just the entire bone hurts.
