Thank you guys so much... it’s been like two days and I’m still completely lost for words in the face of everyone’s generosity and kindness

I was reading some cynical ass thread on Reddit and saw someone make a rhetorical comment like wow, humans aren’t just self-interested hunks of meat? And I thought of you all and I was like yeah. Yeah, they are so much more than that.

For those on Xan’s timeline but not mine I wanted to at least update you all that thanks to everyone’s generosity I was able to pay off a $200 bill this morning that was about to go into collections. So you guys have already saved my ass in like 24 hours flat

There’s a LOT more to come -- my neurosurgeon charges $500 for every appointment and doesn’t take insurance! screams!!!! but I’m in a MUCH better position thanks to you all and I’m so grateful, thank you all so much for caring about me

Oh! And I’ll be able to get groceries which I was actually worried about!! Yay!!!!
