Then, I carried down the stairs in two trips, three bags of hazardous waste (from when I cleaned out the cleaning cupboards yesterday), two bags of laundry, and a bag of trash.
The laundry went down one more flight of stairs to the basement where I could get that started, then back up the stairs, trash is gone, rest is in the car.
Off to the County Trash Disposal site where they accept Hazardous Waste (cleaning supplies, paint, light bulbs, and batteries)...and currently do not charge for dropping off, yay!
Then....and this is the dangerous part...I went to JoAnn's and...there was a sale. I bought four different fleece fabrics, a lovely thick knit that had been on clearance, four patterns, some thread, needles, pins, a spool of ribbon, a rotary cutter, and a clear cutting guide. Two bags full of stuff. But, honestly, I saved more than I spent!
After that, I went to the grocery store, and spent an hour wandering around and picking up some odds and ends. Of course, I had to make a side trip out back to the car because my wallet had fallen into the cup holder. /sigh.
Mostly today I recorded in a Google doc, the contents of my pantry. That is where maybe half the stuff in the kitchen is stored? No....maybe 1/3. There are all the teas and spices, and the fridge and freezer, to go
