how about inviting some of the grownup students

history of how education has changed since they started - you can have fun w/it - u know, a stone tablet to write on, etc.

one party I went to for a teacher had co-workers, past and present, send in a memory/story, then it was

read at the party and the retiree had to guess who wrote the story....very fun
