So I go back

I examine everything

and the only thing that sticks out is last year there was FICA. Which I've had for every year of my fucking work life that I didnt get a 1099. This year it's FITW. like whut? I don't get this. same employer, nothings changed cept I live in GA now and pay a state tax too. But Why is it FITW and not FICA?

And for the life of me despite reading up on all that I DONT GET IT

I get that I might get less cause the youngest moved out and is no longer dependent. But still, shouldn't I have paid FICA???

Now I dont know if I should go with it and file, or talk to payroll about this.

I pay a qualified man to do my taxes. He sends me an account and I pay the bill and all I have to do is every 3 months go through my xero feed and tell it what the transactions were. Might be worth talking to someone to get some advice.

I put in a ticket with payroll to inquire about the FICA and FITW issue and will see what comes of that. I might have to actually go into a place to get my taxes done. It just sucks cause I've always done my own but something went wrong 2018. 2019 seemed fine. Plus the software changed dramatically the past couple years and it's not always helpful.

2018 I started on one site, and it was a damn nightmare, so I switched to a different company and that was a damn disaster as well.
