I’m nowhere near the image cap, but a lot of my older stuff just isn’t of the quality that my new stuff is (and there’s so much more of it). A lot of it was for fashion blog post promos which I don’t really do anymore either. I’m torn between having a gallery that shows my growth vs one I’m more proud of.
in order to escape the cap, i deleted everything and started over, however i also own a domain and hosting and made a full gallery of my work from beginning to present.
since i am a blogger i use the gallery's uploaded image to keep it hosted even after i nuked everything, that way the blog still retains its images no matter what i do on flickr
Yeah that makes sense! I’ll look into it. I still have my blog as well, it’s just finally more geared for helping people with their avatars and giving them ideas as opposed to being a sorta-fashion-blog. All the old images I have on Flickr are already hosted on that domain so it shouldn’t be too rough getting a gallery going. Just have to sort through them.
