it was just enough that we knew what it was while still looking unique and not like a zilla suit painted silver

you can def tell the people who worked on pacific rim worked on this movie

I call it a La Croix of a plot. Just a whiff of a plot, but enough to tie the monster fights together. And that's all you need for a Kaiju movie.
